Spell-A-Thon Fundraiser

North Sydney Dem Annual Spell-A-Thon – Thursday 23rd August 2018

It is a fun and educational event that gives students a fantastic opportunity to support their school and promotes good spelling. All students participate and it is a wonderful opportunity for family and friends to encourage the fun of learning.

Will it be your Class to receive the medal / trophy for the most correct words?

Which class will raise the most money for the Dem and celebrate with a lunchtime party?

Money raised will go towards technology and additional classroom resources to enhance learning experiences.

We thank you in advance for  your support in making this event both an educational and financial success for the students of North Sydney Demonstration School.

K-2 Disco : Friday 31st August 2018 – 5 to 7pm @ The Dem Lady Hay Hall

Every year in Term 3, Kindergarten to Year 2 families are invited to put on their dancing shoes for a twilight event full of fun, music and movement.

It is a great event full of community spirit and it is wonderful to see the children having a fantastic time with their friends while the parents and carers socialise too.

Tickets are only $5 per child (pre-purchased) and $7 on the night. This price includes food and a drink.

Important: this is NOT a drop and go event. You MUST stay and supervise your child.

Harmony Fair 2018 – THANK YOU

Message from David Bond, P & C President

On behalf of the P&C I’d like to thank everyone for coming along on Friday.

It was a great night for everyone to meet as a community and I’m sure everyone had a lot of fun.

It’s important to recognise that without the help of the over 80 volunteers, events like this don’t happen – so I’d like to thank each and every one of the volunteers and the organising committee (Vanessa, Laurens, Meaghan, Kristen and Annis).

Thank you also to Myra Wearne and all the NSDS teachers and staff (especially Graeme) who gave up their Friday night.

Please help us keep our school grounds looking green for our kids.

If you can only make it for an hour, that’s great, absolutely any time you can spare would be really appreciated.

Our Working Bees are a wonderful way to get the whole family involved in the school community and looking after the school grounds. Make new friends too!
